YOUR GUIDE | OWNER OF ANANDA LODGE COSTA RICAJason’s lifelong connection to the ocean began in southern California and Florida, shaping his identity as a surfer and waterman. His journeys led him to Costa Rica in 2000, where he felt an immediate bond with the land and its Pura Vida essence. In August 2023, he made the decision to move to Playa Grande, embracing a profound return to a place that feels like home.
Jason’s move to Costa Rica has been a profound return to a place that feels like home. His love for the ocean, nature, and the embodiment of the Pura Vida essence has deeply resonated with him.

Jason has been working with Psilocybin over the last 20 plus year forming a deep connection and sacred connection. Through this work, both micro and macro dosing, he is here to share the profound impact they have had in his life. As the mycelium form new neuro pathways in one’s brain, these pathways have led Jason to a life long journey of service.
He is committed to ensuring that your surf retreat at Ananda Lodge is nothing short of unforgettable, drawing on his passion for the ocean, nature, and the spirit of Pura Vida to create an unparalleled experience for you.
