Modern research increasingly confirms what indigenous healing traditions have understood for generations: chronic inflammation is at the root of the majority of illness and disease. It drives autoimmune conditions, disrupts hormonal function, clouds cognitive clarity, depletes energy, and creates the persistent heaviness in the body that no amount of diet or willpower has been able to fully resolve.

Kambo addresses inflammation at its physiological root. The bioactive peptides in the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog work directly through the lymphatic and immune systems, triggering a deep purge of what the body has been holding.

Dermaseptins in the secretion carry demonstrated antimicrobial activity. The immune-modulating compounds activate the body’s own defense mechanisms rather than suppressing them. Three sessions in close succession, the traditional initiation series, compound and consolidate this effect in a way a single session cannot.

The Arc

1. Nervous System Reset
   Somatic trauma-informed facilitation and the  physiological impact of Kambo work together to bring the nervous system out of a chronic stress state. Fear held in the body begins to release when the body itself is no longer carrying the accumulated weight.
2. Physical Cleanse
   Three Kambo ceremonies in the traditional initiation series work through the lymphatic and immune systems to address
   inflammation, remove stagnation, and restore the body’s own capacity to function clearly. Juicing throughout supports the
   detox arc.
3. Emotional Release
   What is carried emotionally is carried somatically. As the body releases, the emotional field follows. Ayahuasca ceremony and integration work move what has been layering your spirit so that what is underneath can surface and lead.
4. Vision and Re-Weaving
   A clear mind thinks differently than a clouded one. The final integration day is structured around naming what was released and articulating, with intention and witnesses, what you are choosing to grow. The word has power when it is spoken from a clean place.

The Deep Purification
Kambo is applied in the traditional three-session initiation series across the first four days of the immersion. Each session builds on what the previous one opened. The acute phase, typically 15 to 40 minutes, involves a powerful physiological purge through the lymphatic and immune systems. After the purge, deep rest follows. Then, for most participants: mental clarity, emotional lightness, and physical energy that extends into the days ahead. Three sessions in close succession is how the medicine is traditionally initiated. It is not redundant repetition. It is a compounding process that consolidates the clearing the first session begins. The body responds differently by the third ceremony. What the first session loosens, the series resolves.

Yawanawa Lineage
The first Ayahuasca ceremony is held in the traditional way of the Yawanawa, honoring the integrity and power of the Amazonian lineage from which this medicine descends. We enter in reverence, carried by the songs and prayers of the tradition. This is not an introduction to the medicine. It is a full ceremony held in the fullness of its lineage. What Kambo has cleared, the ceremony receives and works with at depth.

The Offering
The second ceremony is a whole-night ceremony built on the four gates of manifestation. We walk the Mesada together, weaving a collective offering guided by the teachings, cosmovision, and spiritual influence of our indigenous elders, sustaining a shared prayer through the night and into the sunrise. This is where the shedding of what was transforms into the planting of what comes next. Releasing the old and stepping into the new: that is the purpose and the experience of this night. The Year of the Fire Horse carries its final energy into the weeks before this immersion. The Year of the Goat, beginning February 6, brings kindness, peace, creativity, and resilience. The Offering is precisely timed as an act of crossing: the last of the old year’s weight is surrendered, and what grows in its place is woven by intention, witnessed in ceremony, and carried into the new year already rooted.

Rapeh Circle
A shared rapeh circle is held as both a grounding and an opening. Sacred tobacco clears the respiratory system, focuses the mind, and connects the group to the medicine lineage. It is a moment of collective arrival before the deeper work begins.
